GeoEstimator drawings do not come with actual pitch numbers set, just the downslope direction of the pitch.  In order to get the accurate numbers from the drawing the End User needs to input these pitches.  The pitches can be set either via the context menu (right-click menu) on the 'Pitch' tab, or the Totals table on either the Pitch or Area tab.

The context menu provides 2 options for setting Pitches; "Set All Pitches", "Set Pitch Direction".  The "Set All Pitches" command allows you to input a single number that will be applied to all planes on the drawing.  The "Set Pitch Direction" brings up a dialog that allows you to set the direction and pitch of a single plane.

When utilizing the Totals tables on either the Pitch or Area tab you can only set the pitch on a per plane basis by selecting the Pitch column for the given plane.

The recommended steps would be the following:

  1. Use the 'Set All Pitches" command to set all pitches to the same number.
  2. Use either the "Set Pitch Direction" or utilize the Totals table to change the specific planes that differ.
